Joe Valeo is the President of SmallBusinessLoans, bringing more than 35 years of experience in finance and sales to the role. He is focused on expanding access to “right-fit” financing solutions and services that help small businesses grow and succeed.

Joe’s mission for SmallBusinessLoans is simple but ambitious: make it easier for business owners to find financing and resources that actually fit their needs. He drives growth by leveraging his deep industry relationships and by building practical financial and business solutions designed for today’s small business owners.

“We’re building something special — something different,” says Joe. “Our goal is to give business owners a simple, straightforward way to access financing and all the tools they need to run and grow their businesses.”

In his previous positions, Valeo gained strategic development and consumer/business lending experience, serving financial services organizations such as LendingPoint, where he held the position of EVP/GM for POS merchant lending and direct-to-consumer loans. Before that, he led sales strategy and management at CAN Capital. Additionally, Valeo has held critical leadership roles at First Data Corporation, where he worked in merchant payment services; Citicorp, where he managed e-commerce, ISOs, and franchises; and VISA, where he managed acquirer and issuer relationships with key financial institutions.

Alongside the SmallBusinessLoans team, Joe is passionate about supporting small business owners while working closely with partners who want to reach and serve more merchants — more effectively.
